Parents can request permanent deletion of their iLimits account and all associated child data at any time — no questions asked. Here's everything you need to know.

At iLimits, you are always in control of your data. This page explains how to delete your account, what data gets removed, and how the process works. We keep things simple, transparent, and fully in your hands.

Deleting Your Account

You may delete your iLimits parent account at any time. Deleting your account is a free and permanent action — there are no waiting periods, no fees, and no barriers to exercising this right.

Once a deletion request is confirmed and processed, your account and all data associated with it will be permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems.

Account deletion is available to all iLimits users at any time. You do not need a reason to request it, and we will never ask for one.

What Data Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently and completely removed from our systems:

Email address, login credentials, and account preferences

Child Profiles
All child names, nicknames, and profile data linked to your account

Screen Time History
All usage reports, statistics, and historical screen time data

Device Connections
All linked child devices, identifiers, and sync configurations

App Configuration Data
All rules, schedules, limits, categories, and blocked app settings

Category & Rule Data
Custom categories, restriction rules, and parental control configurations

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once confirmed, your data cannot be recovered. Please ensure you no longer need your account data before proceeding.

How to Request Deletion

There are two ways to delete your iLimits account. Choose whichever is most convenient for you.

Option 1
Inside the App

The quickest way. Follow the account deletion steps directly within your iLimits app settings — no email required.

Steps to follow
  • 1 Open the iLimits app
  • 2 Go to Settings
  • 3 Tap Account
  • 4 Select Delete Account
  • 5 Confirm the deletion
Option 2
Email Request

Prefer to request by email? Send a deletion request from your registered email address and we'll handle it promptly.

For email requests, please send from the email address registered to your iLimits account so we can verify and process your request promptly.

Deletion Processing

Once your deletion request is received and verified, here is what happens:

Your deletion request is logged and confirmed. You will receive an acknowledgement if requested via email.

Identity Verification
For email requests, we verify the request originates from the registered account email address before proceeding.
🗑️
Data Permanently Removed
All account and child data is permanently deleted from our active systems within a reasonable timeframe of the verified request.
Deletion Confirmed
Your account is fully removed. The data cannot be recovered once this step is complete.

In rare circumstances, certain data may be retained for a limited period if required by applicable law or legal obligation. We will notify you if this applies to your request.

Important Notes

⚠️

Partial deletion is not currently supported. Deleting individual data items (such as a single child profile or usage history) without deleting the full account is not available at this time. Account deletion removes all associated data entirely.
