Who This App Is For

iLimits is designed exclusively for parents or legal guardians to manage and monitor their child's device usage. Children do not create independent accounts without parental involvement.

• Screen time limits, app rules, and schedules

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

• App usage duration and screen time statistics
• List of installed apps (package names only, for categorization and limit enforcement)
• Device identifiers (non-personal) for syncing parent and child devices
• App configuration and enforcement settings

Accessibility Service Usage

Accessibility access is used only to:

• Detect which app is currently active
• Apply app blocking and screen time limits
• Prevent access to restricted apps

Child Data Protection

Protecting children's privacy is a core principle of iLimits.

How We Use Information

• Enforce screen time and app usage limits
• Provide clear usage reports to parents
• Sync settings across linked devices

iLimits does not use data for advertising, profiling, or tracking across apps.

• Upon account deletion, all associated child and parent data is permanently removed, except where retention is required by law

Account & Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of their iLimits account and all associated personal data by contacting us at support@ilimits.app from their registered email address, or by following the account deletion instructions provided within the app.

Partial data deletion without deleting the account is not currently supported.

Permissions Used

• Accessibility Service – Used exclusively to detect the active app and enforce screen time limits and app blocking rules set by parents
• Usage Access (App Usage Stats) – Required to calculate accurate screen time and generate usage reports
• Foreground Service – Ensures parental controls remain active and cannot be easily bypassed
• Device Admin (optional) – Prevents uninstallation of the app without parent permission

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

Your Rights

As a parent or legal guardian, you have the right to:

• Access and review the data we collect about your child
• Request correction of inaccurate information
